Medpedia

It is only in its early days but it will be interesting to see how Medpedia evolves. Released last week, it could become a useful alternative to Wikipedia as only physicians and PhDs are allowed to post and edit articles after they create an account and are approved as an editor. It is intended to be a reference source for both medical professionals and the lay-public covering information about health, medicine and the body. It has Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley and Uni of Michigan Schools of Medicine supporting it.
