Description: The 11th edition of Burket's Oral Medicine is a comprehensive and authoritative text of medical diseases affecting the mouth. The text is written by a group of over forty internationally respected experts in the field and includes 23 chapters divided into sections covering: Principles of Diagnosis, Oral Mucosal and Salivary Gland Disease, Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders, and Principles of Medicine. The 11th edition contains new chapters covering Pharmacology, Headache and Genetics and has all new color illustrations and figures. The text is accompanied by a CD, which contains case reports for each chapter and an expanded bibliography.

The national survey of adult oral health 2004-06.Canberra, A.C.T. : Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2008.

Description: Provides a detailed snapshot of oral health in Australia at the beginning of the twenty-first century. It reports results from the 2004-06 National Survey of Adult Oral Health in which a random sample of adult Australians was interviewed and dentally examined. The report describes the levels of oral disease, perceived oral health and patterns of dental treatment for the population and among sociodemographic subgroups of the population.
