Postgraduate course in health professional education

A new Master of Education (Health Professional Education ) course will be offered from 2011 at the University. The course aims to equip those who have educational responsibilities in the health professions, with knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education. Students will emerge with a deeper understanding of contemporary, internationally recognised educational pedagogies and practices that underpin teaching and learning in the health professions.

Associate Professor Elaine Blignaut and Associate Professor Tania Gerzina from our Faculty have made significant contributions to the planning of this exciting new course which will be delivered collaboratively by staff in the Sydney Nursing and Medical Schools, as well as the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Faculty of Education & Social Work.
